INOVAÇÃO EM EMPRESAS MULTINACIONAIS DE PAÍSES EMERGENTES: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA
Resumo
Este artigo trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura sobre inovações em empresas multinacionais emergentes (EMNEs). O objetivo foi ampliar a compreensão sobre a geração de inovação no contexto específico das EMNEs, por meio da elaboração de uma estrutura integrativa, além de identificar lacunas e orientar pesquisas futuras. Foram analisados 52 artigos publicados entre 2011 e 2025, indexados na Web of Science e na Scopus, com predominância de estudos quantitativos e foco em EMNEs da China e da Índia. A análise revelou quatro correntes de pesquisa principais: (i) inovação e internacionalização, (ii) estratégias de aprendizado e emparelhamento, (iii) fatores moderadores da inovação e (iv) impactos da inovação no desempenho internacional. Os resultados evidenciam que a inovação nas EMNEs é simultaneamente causa e consequência da internacionalização, sendo influenciada por fatores institucionais, estratégicos e organizacionais. A revisão contribui ao propor uma estrutura integrativa para análise do tema e ao indicar lacunas relevantes, como a escassez de estudos sobre subsidiárias e sobre impactos efetivos da inovação.
